Medicare is a brand of healthcare plans that, through a "Managed Care" system, manages one of the largest and most well-established health insurance portfolios in Portugal.
Medicare wanted to implement a digital solution, through a platform that makes digital cards available to their customers, in order to improve their position within the market and specially for their target audience..
This application was developed for smartphone iOS (Objective-C), Android (Java) and Windows Phone (C#). Through API, the application obtains and validates each user’s information regarding Medicare products.
The application has made it easier for policy holders to access Medicare cards, and it has also made it possible for users to contact the helpline. With this application, users can directly add their Medicare cards to their mobile phones through the passbook and wallet.
